JenAchu Foundation is a community-centered nonprofit connecting people with healthcare, essential resources, education, and opportunity in North Texas and across Africa. Our work is grounded in one simple belief: when people have access to the right support, stronger lives and stronger communities become possible.
JenAchu Foundation was created to help close the gaps that often stand between people and the care, resources, and opportunities they need. We serve through three core areas. Our approach is practical, collaborative, and focused on meaningful impact.
Improving access to wellness resources, screenings, health education, healthcare navigation, and community outreach.
Mobilizing clothing, school supplies, household essentials, hygiene products, and other useful resources for individuals and families.
Supporting children, families, schools, and communities through education, health and wellness, nutrition, essential resources, and community-based initiatives.

JenAchu Foundation grew from a desire to move beyond caring about community needs and begin responding to them in practical ways.
Through years of healthcare and community service, founder Jennifer Achu saw firsthand that many challenges are deeply connected. A person may need a health screening but lack access. A senior may need help navigating care. A child may need school supplies. A family may need essential household resources.
At the same time, individuals, businesses, churches, schools, and organizations often have resources and a desire to help but no clear way to connect that generosity with real community needs. JenAchu Foundation was created to help bridge that gap.
Today, the Foundation brings together people, resources, partnerships, and programs to strengthen communities locally and internationally.
We believe community challenges should not be addressed in isolation. Health, education, access, resources, and opportunity are often interconnected. That is why JenAchu Foundation takes a broad community-centered approach.
We connect people with support. We connect donated goods with real needs. We connect healthcare resources with communities. We connect volunteers and organizations with opportunities to serve. And we connect local generosity with communities both in North Texas and across Africa.
Our local work focuses on community health, wellness events, health screenings, resource giving, senior outreach, volunteer service, and partnerships with healthcare organizations, businesses, schools, churches, nonprofits, and community groups.
Our international programs support children, families, schools, and communities through education, health and wellness, nutrition, clothing, essential supplies, and community-based projects. We aim to work with trusted local partners who understand the communities they serve.
Whether our work takes place in North Texas or across Africa, our purpose remains the same: to help people access care, resources, opportunity, and hope.
Founder, JenAchu Foundation
Jennifer Achu is a registered nurse, community advocate, entrepreneur, and longtime community leader whose work has consistently centered on people, service, and connection.
Her healthcare background gave her a close view of the challenges many individuals and families face when navigating care, finding resources, or accessing support. Those experiences helped shape the vision for JenAchu Foundation.
Jennifer believes communities become stronger when people use their skills, relationships, resources, and influence to create opportunities for others. Through JenAchu Foundation, she is building a platform that brings together healthcare professionals, businesses, volunteers, civic leaders, churches, schools, nonprofits, and community partners around practical programs that improve lives.
Her vision is for JenAchu Foundation to become a trusted bridge between people who need support and people and organizations with the ability to help.
